Hot Mic

Everyone gets the same prompt and records it alone in their own booth, as many takes as it takes.

Then the tapes roll one at a time with no names on them, and you each pick a favourite. When the votes are in, they flip over and you find out who made which noise.

More ways to play

Turn on as many as you like and every round draws one at random.

• Mimic: give it a voice. Mostly portraits and sculptures, plus a teapot or two.
• Tongue Twister: say it fast. You won't see it until you're already recording.
• Animal Noises: moo, bark or hoot, depending on what's in the picture. No words.
• Extra Modes: available in the Party Pass!

What else

• Talk to each other in the lobby and between rounds (but not in the booths).
• Choose a colour and a face for your flame, which grows the more you score.
• Save the funniest recordings as audio files.
• Real public-domain art, some of it thousands of years old.
• A microphone is required. A headset helps.
