Vittorio Corbo's Un-BEATable Game

Coming soonActionIndieWindows

I have made a meta-metagame. A game that is TRULY unbeatable, where you must fight the games creator (myself), so that you can understand games at their deepest level.

Dear potential player,

So, you have most likely watched the trailer, seen the screenshots, read the elevator pitch of the game (top-right text below the logo)... AND YET you don't know if the game is for you.

All of those are supposed to communicate to you, what the game is about. Despite that you need more information. Despite games being an audiovisual medium (which screenshots and videos do a better job at conveying) you want to read it in a longer text blurb.

And honestly I can't blame you, sometimes you want to be told not shown. Like back in the day you would read the backside of a physical game. Sometimes there is something great about having to define a physical played experience into text (which is not its natural medium).

So, how on earth does this answer what this game is about? (onto next paragraph)

Well this game is all about this exact type of meta dissection. Instead of it being about steampages, which is the medium we are in right now, it is about games themselves, a meta-dissection of games.

But I know this text might sound high and mighty, conveying that this is a dense text heavy game. But don't you worry, this game is all about YOU fighting against ME (Vittorio Corbo) in musical-bullethell combat where you WANT to get shot (this used to be my old pitch when the game revolved heavily around the combat until I decided to go full-in into the whole meta thing so I am happy I can use this elevator pitch somewhere).

Point is the game asks: How meta can a game be? And well the answer to that question has games themselves breaking apart. As such the question is not IF the game is unbeatable. But WHY and HOW?

But yet again, I have repeated this point many of times in other marketing materials, so maybe this sections is redundant?

Still, potential player, if this type of meta-shattering experience appeals to you, feel free to give me your money (this is a product after all) and to play it! If not, I hope you have a great one!

With love?

- Vittorio Corbo

P.S. if you are still on the fence if this game is for you, there is a (free) demo you can check out. In many ways the only way to know if you will like a videogame is by PLAYING it.
