The yokai are not mere enemies to be cut down. Reach the regrets that turned them into yokai, and lay their souls to rest. The dread you once felt for them shifts as each battle ends. And the purpose of your journey: to reclaim Musashi's small, stolen soul.

Feed him, train him, dress him in ninja or samurai garb, and Musashi fights at your side with new power. The time you spend loving him becomes your strength in battle. — Yet his soul is already gone. The more you come to rely on him, the harder he is to let go.
