Don't Feed the Zombie

THE VIRUS LEARNS

They were slow once. Blind. Almost harmless. Then we built the Zones, herded them inside — and kept bringing food to the wire, because behind it stood our fathers, our sisters, our sons. Every feeding taught the thing inside them something new. The Zones fell in a single night. All of them. At once.

ONE RAID, ONE LIFE

Kit out in the hub, then drop into the Zone. Everything you carry is at risk the moment you land: die, and your gear stays on your body for someone else to take. Reach an extraction point and it's yours to keep. There is no respawn that saves your loadout — only the run out.

YOUR HANDS ARE THE INTERFACE

No magic menus. To use something, you take it in your hands: tear rags into bandages, load magazines round by round, wire a detector together from scrap. Every container — pockets, chest rigs, backpacks, corpses — is searched separately and takes time. Time you may not have.

THE ZONE IS ALIVE

Weather rolls in, night falls, anomalies hum in the dark. Mutants hunt by sound. Bandits work in squads, take cover and call out your position. Wounds bleed, legs break, the cold gets into you. Fire cooks meat and gives you away.

SAY IT OUT LOUD

Positional voice chat and radio channels: the man crouched in the next room can hear you breathe. Negotiate, lie, or stay silent — the choice is a weapon.

BUILT SERVER-FIRST

Fully authoritative dedicated servers. Every item is a single row in a database with an audit trail — no dupes, no client-side inventories, no rewriting your loot from memory. Bring friends: the hub is persistent, the raids are not.
