Chainline Survivors

Chainline Survivors is a lightweight top-down action roguelite bullet-hell survival game. You lead a serpentine squad of multiple heroes, automatically attacking and clearing waves of enemies, while continuously upgrading your team through a shop that appears after each round.

The core of the game isn't about controlling a single character to unleash complex skills, but rather building your battle team through "purchasing, refreshing, combining, upgrading stars, and forming synergies." Each hero has unique attack styles and attribute traits; by strategically pairing heroes with matching traits, you can activate powerful synergy effects, transforming your squad from scattered firepower into a high-intensity screen-clearing force.

Each round alternates between short bursts of combat and shop preparation. You must decide how to spend your limited gold: purchase new champions, pursue 3-in-1 upgrades for starglades, refresh the shop, replenish items, or continue investing resources into a core synergy. Different choices lead to distinct playstyles in battle.
