Shura Field: Love and Death

In a post-apocalyptic era, deep within an overpopulated underground city with exhausted resources, the life-support system is fragile and on the verge of collapse.

A group of young people tasked with “carrying the spark of humanity” are locked in a luxury villa by the System, the city’s AI overseer. They must compete in a selection trial to find their [Apocalypse Partner].

Enter an ancient Eastern apocalyptic world-Illusory Realm-where history, xianxia, and fantasy intertwine. Face relentless challenges and prove your ability to survive—earning your place in the underground city alongside your chosen partner.

As Contestant 009, you must choose one of the girls recommended by the System, win her trust, complete the pairing, and leave behind the “spark” of humanity together. Afterwards, you will journey to the surface to seek a new future for the underground city…

But the underground city has no room for the useless.Those who fail the trial or are not chosen will be sent to the Protein Factory, converted into scarce energy and supplies for the city.

Map Exploration: Time-Limited Missions and Event Handling Order

Each time you are sent into the Illusory Realm by the system, you need to choose an identity card: either "Conqueror" or "Outlaw", and accept the corresponding time-limited missions. For example, within 5 days, you must acquire specific Five-Dimensional Attributes and rescue a city besieged by monsters.

The map contains various explorable events. Handling these events will consume time. With limited time, proper planning is crucial. Deciding which events to handle and in what order is key to completing your missions.

Hovering your mouse over an event icon will display the Five-Dimensional Attributes, Trust Rate, or item rewards you can gain from completing that event. This information will help you determine your strategy for handling events.

Five-Dimensional Attributes&Attribute Showdown: Proof of Ability to Clear the Illusory Realm

Under the identity card of Conqueror and Outlaw, each is bound to an exclusive spirit artifact: the Seal of the Gentleman and the Rings of Sun and Moon. They also correspond to two separate sets of Five-Dimensional Attributes.

Five-Dimensional Attributes: Composed of five major attributes, Cultivation, Prestige, Strategy, Resources, and Benevolence.

When you enter the Illusory Realm, you will encounter multiple checkpoints that test your exploration progress: such as boss battles, elite NPCs, key events, and chapter endings.

Depending on the enemy's strength, each Attribute Showdown will have 1 to 3 verification rounds. In each round, if your total attribute score is higher than the opponent's, you win; otherwise, you lose.

Auto Chess & Balatro-like: Flip and Score

When the "Attribute Showdown" begins, all the "cards" (attribute-boosting items) you have accumulated from previous map exploration events will be revealed in an auto-chess-style flip sequence. Each card is an echo of a life-or-death choice you made during your journey.

At this point, you can no longer take any actions that affect the outcome of the showdown—your choices have already been made.

Below the screen, a row of "cards" will provide a stacking bonus to your current "Attributes" and "Base Score." Some cards add points to a single attribute, while others double the corresponding attribute score!

It's important to note that the valuable "Attribute Doubling Items" only affect the "total accumulated attribute scores" you have built up previously. Therefore, the order in which you complete events and collect items during exploration is crucial.

A smart contestant would prioritize building up their attributes first, then collect bonus items, and save the doubling items for last... right?

Spirit Artifact Skills: Different Solutions for the Same Target

During map exploration in the Illusory Realm, you will encounter some special NPCs. These could be powerful guardians protecting treasures or partners who need your interaction and collaboration.

You can choose from various strategies to interact with them—beyond regular conversation, you can use your current "Spirit Artifact Skills" to gather intelligence, charm and control, or overpower them in combat. This will unlock subsequent storylines or provide additional rewards.

Your identity card comes with exclusive spirit artifacts: the Gentleman's Seal and the Sun and Moon Rings. These naturally come with combat-oriented "Spirit Artifact Skills" that give you an advantage in attribute showdowns. Additionally, building trust with your beauty partners will unlock new "Spirit Artifact Skills" for you, such as the Book of Past Lives (for gathering intelligence) and the Wu Bell (for charming and controlling), and so on.

Different choices lead to different solutions, so please try out various approaches.

Room Abilities: Story Rewards Granted by the System

After surviving the fierce battles in the Illusory Realm and returning to reality, you discover that the “spirit artifact” obtained in the Illusory Realm challenges actually function in the real world as well.

During free exploration in your room, you can use these abilities to unlock more character storylines, special dialogue options, and interactive experiences with your partners.

These incredible permissions break the boundary between the Illusory Realm and reality. They are both the System’s reward for your participation and a symbol of its supreme control over the underground city.

Complete more Illusory Realm challenges, earn your partner’s trust, and unlock more abilities. Perhaps one day, these Room Abilities will help you fulfill the true purpose behind your entry into this selection trial.

Trust Rating! The Decisive Vote for Survival

Trust Rate represents your potential partner’s willingness to form an exploration team with you. Every choice you make in the Illusory Realm affects their trust in you.

Each time you complete a round of Illusory Realm missions and return to your room, the System will conduct a Trust Rating for you and other contestants. You must gain enough Trust Rate from your partners in the Illusory Realm to avoid being eliminated – sent by the System to the Protein Factory.

Each time you survive the Trust Rating, the System will start a new countdown.

Hurry up, win your potential partner’s trust in the Illusory Realm, unlock new abilities, and trigger more emotional interactions with them during free time in your room.
