Tatra KT4D – A Classic Tram for Your Fleet

Historical Tram Technology for CTS 2026

The Tatra KT4D was developed in the early 1970s specifically for networks with tight curves and steep gradients. It was used in numerous cities across the former GDR.

This DLC focuses on the Frankfurt vehicles, which were built between 1987 and 1990. After German reunification, these vehicles were modernized, including refreshed interiors with new seats and new interior paneling.

Authentic Driving Experience

The Tatra KT4D feels noticeably different from modern trams. The classic PCC accelerator control, acceleration and braking via pedals, and the option to operate in double traction create a distinctive driving experience and new challenges in everyday city traffic.
