OpTek is hiring engineers for routine maintenance work inside our containment chambers. With the number of entities hosted in our state of the art Panopticon recently reaching ████████████, we are looking to expand the OpTek team as well. Our engineers must be equipped with a strong and varied skill set, a flashlight, a standard map tracker, and a good attitude.
Use the computer to select a chamber flagged for repair. Each chamber is a new job site with its own layout, hazards, and repair requirements.
Inside each chamber you will work to identify system failures, and locate the source of their malfunctions. You will need to explore the chamber to find misplaced proprietary assets necessary for system restoration.
Calmly and expertly adjust levers, screw bolts, twist knobs, toggle switches, and calibrate other parts, while avoiding a rogue entity. You will need to manage your battery to maintain use of your flashlight and other tools, and utilize hiding spots and other safe zones to survive whatever unique disruptions the entity will bring.
Restore the chamber before conditions deteriorate and when the work is done, escape to the airlock, seal the chamber, return to the Panopticon, and select your next assignment. Of course, “routine” at OpTek rarely stays routine for long.
