NOTES for the sake of clarity
The Inventor has left prerecorded messages on intercoms at various locations throughout the island. These will help you understand why things are the way they are, give you background information, guidance, and encouragement. You do not meet the Inventor.
There is no 'lore', no reading books or journals.
