SpiritusCard

To be announcedIndieStrategyEarly AccessWindows

Spiritus TCG blends classic Five Elements strengths and weaknesses with Yin, Yang, and Chaos in one reveal and turn-order system. Each round moves through prep, draw, mulligan-style swap, face-down placement, simultaneous reveals, and multi-step resolution.

Spiritus Card is a Chinese casual Cthulhu collectible card game. You play as a Spiritus Harmonizer, balancing Spiritus on a computer terminal simulation.

Choose to play as the Producer or the Consumer, and pull the shared Spiritus value toward your side before your deck runs out.

Though battles are turn-based, SpiritusTCG plays differently from games like Hearthstone or Yu-Gi-Oh!—both players share the same turn. Who resolves card effects first is decided by the Five Elements cycle of generation and overcoming, so reading your opponent’s elements and playing a counter is a core part of the fun.

Each turn, both players go through Prepare, Draw, Exchange, Cover, Reveal, and Turn Resolve. The Producer wins by pushing Spiritus to +21; the Consumer wins by driving it to −21. Equilibrium and other special win conditions also exist.

Key Features

Spiritus System

A shared resource decides the outcome. Both players fight over the same pool—once the board develops, every turn feels like a tug of war.

Balancing Spiritus is a skill and nature’s ultimate choice: if Spiritus is exactly 0 when the game ends, both players win.

Five Elements & Yin–Yang

Cards carry Five Elements and Yin/Yang attributes. Generation and overcoming determine which card’s effects resolve first.

Think of it as an advanced rock-paper-scissors—the guesswork expands from 3 to 5 + 2. It may look complex at first, but effects tie to their elements: Fire represents activated Spiritus, so those cards often lean toward aggressive Producer/Consumer plays; Metal represents condensed Spiritus, so those cards often focus on interrupts and disruption.

Learn what each element stands for, then play counters to your opponent’s line—and surprising swings will follow.

Cover & Reveal

Each player has three Cover slots on the board. By default you may Cover only one card per turn—but when you fall behind, a catch-up rule kicks in and you can Cover more cards to fight back.

After both sides Cover, cards are Revealed at the same time and resolved in order. Choosing when and what to Cover is where strategy really shows.

Deckbuilding Depth

Traits, conditions, effects, attributes—nearly a thousand cards await you. Build your own archetype and claim the Spiritus for yourself.

Modes

Solo campaign and online two-player matches—invite friends for heated duels.

In solo mode, explore extensive mission dialogue and documents, plus unique puzzle gameplay that uncovers conspiracies hidden behind the story.

Physical-Friendly

SpiritusTCG began as a physical card game before the digital version. Digital rules stay aligned with the tabletop set whenever possible—great for collectors and offline play.
