A third-person space survival game where seamless planet landings meet debt, fuel costs, fines, taxes, base ownership, and rebellion.

Celestial Routes is a third-person space exploration and survival game about trying to stay alive under the weight of taxes, fines, fuel costs, debt, and government control.

You begin as an ordinary galactic citizen inside an apartment marked for expropriation on a space station. From there, you must travel across star systems, discover planets, accept missions, build and maintain a base, earn credits, upgrade your ship, and decide how far you are willing to cooperate with the authorities — or whether it is time to rebel.

Survive the Economy of Space

In Celestial Routes, survival is not only about oxygen, weapons, and fuel. It is also about money.

Your base is taxed. Your ship consumes fuel. Warp gates are expensive. Emergency fuel services can save you from being stranded in deep space, but they may also push you into debt. A negative credit balance means you owe money, and debt can quickly become one of your greatest enemies.

Earning credits is essential. Complete missions, trade goods, mine asteroids, recover lost packages, fight outlaws, capture creatures, steal data, or prevent asteroid attacks. Some missions may also trigger additional storylines, leading to new choices and consequences.

Build a Base — Then Maintain It

During the initiation period, you receive a building deed that allows you to establish your first base on a planet of your choice.

Your base is more than a shelter. It is where you access missions, buy equipment, purchase base parts, use marketplace services, and upgrade your ships and weapons. However, every expansion increases the tax burden of your base. Expanding may be easy; maintaining what you build may not be.

Fail to pay your taxes on time, and your base may be lost.

Explore Star Systems

Each star system has its own economy, security level, celestial bodies, and opportunities. Depending on the system, you may encounter planets, moons, debris fields, conflict zones, space stations, and surface facilities.

Distances can be vast, and careless fuel planning may leave you stranded in deep space. Warp gates provide a safer and faster way to travel long distances, but they are not available everywhere, and their services are costly.

Fight on Foot and in Space

Combat takes place both in third-person mode and in ship mode.

On foot, different weapons offer different combat styles and can be looted from enemies or purchased through your base computer. In space, your ship’s performance matters. Speed, fuel efficiency, fuel capacity, damage output, manoeuvrability, flight range, and warp range all affect how far you can go and what kinds of missions you can complete.

New ships can be purchased from exhibition areas inside space stations, each offering different strengths and weaknesses.

Cooperate, Gain Influence, or Rebel

The colonial and galactic authorities control taxes, fines, ownership, and access to opportunities. You can try to gain influence within the system and receive advantages such as tax incentives — or you can choose a more rebellious path.

Rebellion may create disadvantages in some systems while opening new possibilities in others.

In Celestial Routes, exploration is not only about discovering new worlds. It is about surviving the systems that own them.
