Stonesong
In Stonesong, you are crafting jewels to complete your collection as a master jeweler: a Songsmith. Mine, loot chests, craft, decorate your house, discover the lore of Vael'Thara one day at a time in this cozy and stylized first person open world.
Story
Long ago, the world wasn't ground and sky — it was a single great mountain called Vael'thara, the Heartstone. It hummed. Every living thing felt that hum in their teeth and their bones, and the dwellers of Vael'thara — your people, the Lumin — shaped their lives around it. They were not miners then. They were listeners. The mountain sang, and they sang back, and from that exchange grew cities of light and quiet craft.
Then came the Sundering. No one alive remembers why — only that the Heartstone cracked, and the song broke into a thousand discordant notes. The mountain shattered upward, not down. Great slabs of Vael'thara tore free of the earth and rose into the sky, held aloft by the runes the old Lumin carved in panic as the world came apart — cyan glyphs that bound stone to memory, and memory to air. The shards have hung there ever since, anchored by chains of light to the wounded ground below.
The hum never fully stopped. It just scattered. Now it lives in gemfall — small bright pieces of the old song that drift down from the floating stones when the runes pulse, settling into the moss and riverbeds and cave floors of the world below. Each gem is a fragment of a feeling the mountain once held: rose-quartz for the warmth of a remembered hearth, sky-beryl for a long exhale, smoke-opal for a grief that has softened into something wearable.
Those who can craft with these are called… Songsmiths.
Gameplay
You play as a Lumin wandering the lands of Vael'Thara when you stumble upon an old, abandoned tower. A forgotten letter in the mailbox awaits you: it explains that the former inhabitant, a Songsmith, has left to pursue a life of adventure. The tower, the grimoire, and the home are now yours.
In this first-person open-world game, you will prospect for gems, open chests, upgrade your skills, and craft beautiful jewels. Take on writs and orders from traveling adventurers, and meet local characters who offer a rotating daily selection of items for your crafting or decorating needs.
Cozy house decoration
In Stonesong, you earn gold to decorate your home. Purchase furniture from Anya, whose stock refreshes daily, or trade in coupons you have discovered in chests. Will you find a basic coupon for a simple chair, or a mythic painting with a rare 0.02% drop rate? Don’t worry—if you don’t find it yourself, you might just find it in the hands of another player.
Online player economy
The marketplace allows you to trade anything in the game with other players—materials, jewels, recipes, or furniture coupons. You set the prices! This system allows you to help your friends or track down that final recipe you need to complete your grimoire.
Collect all jewels
If you love collecting, Stonesong is for you. While the grimoire is where you upgrade your skills to secure better loot or refine materials, it is also where you collect and display your jewel stickers. There are over 100 hand-drawn stickers to collect, organized into sets (rings, necklaces, and tiaras) for you to craft and display.
Come back tomorrow...
The game features a full day/night cycle that follows real-world time. Every night from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM, "Gemfall" occurs: precious ores and gems rain from the sky, waiting for you to mine them in the morning.
Each day brings new chests to loot, new recipes and materials to trade, and new upgrades to unlock. If you complete your daily writs and orders, the game automatically resets the next day, ensuring you always have a cozy task waiting for you.
