Miriam's Potion Journal

■ Overview
Miriam's Potion Journal is a logical alchemy puzzle game where you play as an apprentice alchemist unraveling the hidden laws of ingredients. While fulfilling daily quests, you will toss materials into your cauldron and brew unknown potions. Your ultimate goal is to craft the legendary concoction known as "Idea." Use deduction and a spark of inspiration to discover new potion recipes and become a great alchemist!
■ Deep Crafting Puzzles and Deduction
Every ingredient contains hidden runes (tags). For example, a "Potion of Healing," which is related to "Life," can be brewed by combining ingredients that hold three specific runes: a "Life" core, a "Regeneration" branch, and a "Drop" catalyst. So, what combinations would create other life-related potions? Even mysterious ingredients with unknown effects will gradually reveal their properties as you experiment with brewing. However, every time you play, the combinations of tags hidden within the ingredients will change. Relying on your history of successes and failures, as well as your own notes, deduce the runes of the ingredients in that world and logically derive unknown recipes from the laws of the runes.
■ A Variety of Potions and the Legendary "Idea"
There are numerous recipes to discover, ranging from basic healing salves and high-tier potions that manipulate gravity, to legendary concoctions (Ideas) like the "Philosopher's Stone." Even if the laws of the ingredients change, the recipe structure (the combination of runes) leading to an "Idea" remains the same. Rely on your accumulated knowledge and logical thinking to deduce the correct combinations.
■ The Daily Life of an Apprentice Alchemist
Venture outside the town to gather materials or buy missing ingredients at the shop. Once you're prepared, it's finally time to brew some potions. If you successfully brew a potion requested by the townsfolk, you can deliver it to receive new ingredients and other rewards. Even if you fail, the merchant will gladly buy your failed creations at the shop. What they use them for is anyone's guess... Failure is an inherent part of alchemy. You might mass-produce failures at first, but as you unravel the rules, you'll be able to deduce new recipes and brew more and more unknown potions. Don't be afraid of failure—toss in various combinations of ingredients and keep stirring your cauldron!
