The Last Deadline

A ten-minute pixel-art comedy. It's 11:50 PM, your assignment is due at midnight, and the club has locked its doors. Win four drinking games to reach the back exit before the clock runs out. Every game you lose, you drink, and every drink makes the next game harder.

It's 11:50 PM. Your assignment is due at midnight.

You're at a club, a few drinks in, and the owner has locked the front door for Power Hour. The only way out is the back exit, and everyone between you and it wants something first: the Bartender, a Frat Bro, a guy called Fat Chud, the DJ and a bouncer who doesn't think you look like a VIP.

The clock is real. Ten minutes, start to finish, and walking, talking and playing all spend it.

Win the drinking games. Try not to drink.

Every favour is a drinking game, and every game you lose, you drink. The drunker you get, the harder the next game gets: the room blurs, the music goes under water, and the games fight back. Lose too many and you black out before midnight ever arrives.

Features

  • Four minigames: Order Rush behind the bar, Beer Pong against the Frat Bro, Drink Pour with Fat Chud, and a three-set rhythm gauntlet on the DJ's dance floor.
  • Two meters, one race: the clock only goes forward, and your blood alcohol only goes up.
  • Five endings: make it out the back door, or don't. Every way of failing is a punchline worth seeing.
  • Ten-minute runs: one sitting, one coffee break. Try Again drops you straight back in.
  • Leaderboards: best times for the full run and for each minigame, against your friends and everyone on Steam.
  • Three difficulties: easy, medium or hard decides how many lost games you can afford.
