The 15 books most modern Bibles dropped
The 1611 King James Bible was published with 81 books. The 1599 Geneva Bible carried the same Apocrypha. Most modern Bibles ship only 66. This DLC restores those 15 books and pairs them with three of the most influential editions in church history.
Three editions in one DLC
- King James Version 1611 — all 81 books in period English, with the Apocrypha in their original position between Malachi and Matthew. ~5,800 additional verses.
- Geneva Bible 1599 — the Reformation-era edition the Pilgrims actually carried to America, also with the Apocrypha included.
- Clementine Vulgate — the Latin Bible of Western Christianity for over 1,500 years. Type Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, and Sirach in their original liturgical tongue.

New achievements
Unlock an achievement for each Apocryphal book you complete, plus Full Apocrypha when you finish all 15. Achievements are cross-translation: finishing Tobit in KJV 1611, Geneva, Douay-Rheims, or the Vulgate all count.
Public domain sources
All three editions are derived from verified public-domain sources. The 1611 KJV uses the 1769 Oxford standardization that every modern KJV printing is based on. The Geneva Bible 1599 is sourced from open Reformation-era scans. The Clementine Vulgate is the 1592 Sixto-Clementine recension.
