In the year 2577, civilization had long since died, and the only world that remained was a single last island.
Five hundred years ago, a global nuclear war triggered the reversal of a "nuclear winter"—uncontrolled greenhouse effects and thousands of underwater nuclear explosions turned Earth into a water world. Today's oceans are a highly acidic, radioactive hell, where no life can survive except for mutated deep-sea leviathans.
We are the last of humanity. In this era of severe technological collapse, high-energy batteries are the Holy Grail, sharp alloy fragments are divine iron, and bows and arrows are luxuries more precious than gold. We wield blades forged from scrap of the old world, clad in armor stitched from mutated beast hides, struggling on this isolated island shrouded in pollution.
But the island is shrinking. As tectonic plates subside, seawater is slowly swallowing the highlands inch by inch. The only hope lies at the highest point of the island, a place legendary as the "Quantum Dome." According to archives from the old world, it was the launch silo for the Ark and the sole wormhole leading to extraterrestrial colonies.
24 survivors, a lone island, a legend. Will you share scarce resources to strengthen your defenses, or become a predator and seize everything from others?
