"Derealization" is a visual novel that combines Japanese campus youth, suspenseful loops, and supernatural combat. The main characters in this work are voiced by professional Japanese actors. Inserting original animation clips into the climactic scenes greatly enhances the impact of the plot.
Story Synopsis
No car accident, no electric shock, not even a trace of past life memory remains - "I" just woke up out of thin air in the body of a sixteen-year-old high school student named Watanabe Manabu.
In the unfamiliar classroom, amidst the noisy youth, there was a girl named Bai Zejing who claimed to be my childhood sweetheart. With the vigilance of an outsider, I cautiously played this role until a monster named "Earth Demon" crawled out from the cracks - only then did I see the truth hidden beneath the surface of everyday life in this world.
From the very first day I stepped into this world, I was already part of a game.
When the chill of death penetrated my chest, I thought this was the end.
But the familiar school bell rang again.
Time has returned to the early morning when everything began……
