Simple Wars is a hex wargame. You capture cities, train infantry and armor, and move them into the enemy. Forests, mountains, and forts are harder to take. Units that get surrounded start to fall apart.

The AI defends its cities, attacks gaps in your line, and tries to surround your units.

Ways to play

  • Skirmish against the AI on a generated map.

  • A campaign, plus standalone missions.

  • A map editor. Build a map and play it.

  • Online multiplayer against another person.
