THE HALLOWED CRUSADE

The Empire once stood strong, uniting the kingdoms of Humans, Dwarves and Elves.

Then the Emperor learned of a dark force threatening the world.

He gathered the greatest warriors from every kingdom and marched into uncharted lands to destroy it.

They called it the Hallowed Crusade.

The Emperor never returned, neither did his armies.

But the Empire may not have fallen to war alone. Treachery and scheming minds worked from within.

A decade later, the Empire has fractured. Kingdoms war against one another and old alliances have crumbled.

Now, the dead are rising, some would see them destroyed, but others would wield them as a weapon.

BUILD YOUR ARMY

Recruit units and develop them through battle. Individual units can be upgraded and improved, allowing veteran warriors to become powerful assets rather than disposable soldiers.

Forge alliances with other factions to gain access to their unique units and technologies. Combine the strengths of different kingdoms to create armies that no single faction could field alone.

Choose how you equip and develop your forces, and build an army suited to the way you fight.

But alliances can change the course of a war, and your allies may have ambitions of their own.

TAKE THE FIELD

Command your armies from above, or step down onto the battlefield yourself.

Take direct control of any unit and fight in third person. Lead a charge with your captain, hold a breach in your wall with a single swordsman, or guide an archer to a vantage point for the killing shot.

At any moment, return to command and lead the war from above.

CHOOSE YOUR PATH

Ancient relics and forgotten technologies offer power beyond the ordinary.

Some are Hallowed, drawing upon the ancient powers of the light to strengthen your armies and unlock powerful new abilities.

Others are Dark, offering forbidden power at a terrible cost.

Embrace Dark relics and your faction may begin to change, transforming your units, technologies, and ultimately the nature of your civilization.

The powers you embrace will shape the army you command.

THE UNDEAD

The dead have risen, but they need not be your enemy.

Destroy them and defend what remains of humanity.

Harness them as a weapon against your enemies.

Or embrace the powers of undeath and allow your faction to become something far darker.

The choice is yours.
