CastleGuard: Operation Graveyard

CastleGuard: Operation Graveyard is a round-based co-op shooter in low-poly. Survive wave after wave, earn points for every hit and every kill, and spend them to push deeper into the base — before the next round starts.

Wave nine. Visibility poor. Good luck.

CastleGuard: Operation Graveyard is a free co-op, round-based zombie shooter for 1 to 4 players. The evacuation is over. You were not on the list. Hold what is left for as long as you can: every round, the dead come back in greater numbers, and faster.

Every window is a way in. Nail the planks back up between waves and shoot through the gaps. Every hit earns points, a headshot more, the knife more again. Spend them on doors, weapons and perks. Points are the only currency, and the horde is the only employer.

Play alone, online or offline, or with three others: matchmaking, or a private lobby with your Steam friends. Whoever goes down has thirty seconds and a pistol. Get to them. A soldier who dies waits for the end of the round.

  • The Outpost: an army quarantine camp behind five metres of concrete and wire. Fifteen breaches in the wall, and the dead also come up through the ground.

  • The Bunker: a concrete shelter on an abandoned airfield. Fifteen windows, and a roof the dead walk across.

  • Crossroads: three streets of a small town the evacuation never reached. A bank, a hardware store, a lounge bar, a motel. Nine zones. The power is out.

Eighteen weapons, all historical but one. Buy them off the walls, the PPSh-41, the Sten, the Mosin-Nagant, the StG 44, or put 950 points into the requisition crate and take what Supply sends: an MG 42, an RPG-7, a Scoped Mauser, a Trench Gun, or the one prototype that throws lightning from one zombie to the next. Supply has never known what it ships. Sometimes the crate is transferred to another counter.

Every match starts with the power cut. The perk machines stand dark until someone reaches the main switch at the far end of the map. Pull it, and the lights come back one by one. Six perks: more health, faster reloads, faster fire, a longer sprint, a third weapon, and a second chance for those who play alone. All of them lost when you go down.

The horde drops supplies too: a full resupply, one-shot kills, double points, and a carpenter's kit that rebuilds every window.

Between matches, the barracks. Fifty levels, ten prestiges. Every weapon levels up with its own kills and opens attachments in four slots, optic, muzzle, underbarrel and magazine, that you see in your hands and your squad sees in theirs. Seven camos are earned weapon by weapon, through kills and headshots. Your progress is kept on our servers, not on your PC.

  • Free to play. Nothing for sale helps you survive. The only purchase is the Supporter Pack, and it is cosmetic.

  • Dedicated servers. Every online match runs on its own server, which has the final word on every shot, every point and every purchase.

  • No anti-cheat software on your PC. The server checks; your computer is left alone.

CastleGuard: Operation Graveyard is free, and it will stay that way. If you want to keep the servers running, the Supporter Pack unlocks the Gold camo on every weapon in your barracks, and your squad sees it. It does not shoot harder. It is gold.
