Minesweeper, except the mines are monsters — and some tiles hide potions or treasure. Numbers tell you the total HP nearby. You have HP too, and monsters hit back, so every click is a small bet: fight it now, or go find a potion first? 6 maps, 58 cute monsters, 11 stacking trials.

Minesweeper, but the mines bite back

You know Minesweeper. Now forget half of it.

Mobsweeper is a non-Euclidean Minesweeper RPG. The tiles don't hide mines — they hide monsters. And the numbers? They're not "how many mines are nearby." They're the total HP of every monster around you. A 7 could be one chonky 7-HP brute, or seven 1-HP slimes throwing a party. Which is it? That's your job to figure out.

You've got an HP bar too, and monsters hit back. Deduce the safe path, grab potions, level up — then go knock on the boss's door once you can actually take the hit. Otherwise, congrats: you're the one who got swept.

6 maps, 4 topologies (yes, we folded the board)

  • Grid ×3 — the classic. Warm up here.

  • Torus — walk off the right edge, pop back in on the left. Donut universe.

  • Hex — six neighbors per tile. Every number means something different now. Reboot your brain.

  • Sphere — no edges, no corners, nowhere for monsters to hide. Spin the whole planet to hunt them down. Flat-earthers, look away.

11 "Trials" that stack rules on top of rules

Every map has 11 Trial tiers. Each one adds a new rule on top of the last, and each map unlocks on its own. Tier 1: "that's it?" Tier 11: "who hurt you?"

A 58-monster bestiary

Beat one, unlock its page: habits, favorite hangouts, distribution maps. Study up and next time you'll know exactly who's hiding behind that "4." Collecting all 58 is an achievement. It's also a personality trait.

Also in the box

  • Tutorial stage "Slime Meadow" — start from zero. The slimes are gentle. Mostly.

  • 4 languages, light and dark themes.

  • Mouse and keyboard, sessions as short or long as you like. Perfect for lunch breaks. Or "lunch breaks."
