OUTLIER

An online hide-and-seek game for up to 16 players. Crews sent into an unmapped zone of the Backrooms have begun reporting symptoms. Blend into the crowd, relieve your symptoms in secret, and don't let the Overseer notice.

HIDE IN THE CROWD

Act Natural. Drop into a level full of staff in identical hazmat suits. Walk like them, stop like them, sit when they sit. One wrong move and you stand out.

YOUR SYMPTOMS WON'T WAIT

Relieve It in Secret! Dance. Moonwalk. Fart. Crawl. Beatbox. And it only gets weirder. The urge keeps building. Let it out where no one's looking, or it takes over in front of everyone.

THE OVERSEER IS WATCHING

Eyes Everywhere. Overseers patrol with guns, looking for anyone who acts a little off. Get caught and you hit the floor. They can order a roll call at any time. Don't forget to salute!

PICK YOUR RULES

• Normal: Relieve your symptoms in secret and survive until time runs out. The Overseers are hunting for anyone showing symptoms, and they won't stop until every last one of you is caught.

• Infection: Get caught and you stand right back up as an Overseer. The hunt snowballs, and your friends become the problem.

• Limited ammo: Every bullet counts. Waste all your shots on innocent staff and you'll be the one hitting the floor.

• Free-for-all: No Overseers, no guns. The level is full of real staff and players pretending to be staff. Suspect everyone and kick anyone who looks off! But get it wrong, and everyone around you just watched you do the one thing real staff never do: a dropkick. Last one standing wins.

Three levels are open: Level 0, the Backrooms. Level 5, a mall. Level 6, a park.
