Rox Solid Pro Football is a deep American (Gridiron) football management sim. Choose your role (Owner, General Manager, Head Coach, Off/Def/ST Coordinator, or Position Coach), choose what you want to control (24 different settings across Scouting, Coaching, Front Office, and Game Management groupings), and play as many seasons as you want.

Features

Deep simulation: every player on every snap gets simulated and graded. Plays are actually drawn up with line techniques and gap assignments, and the plays are simulated through phases (snap/exchange -> dropback/fake handoff -> progression reads -> throw -> catch -> run -> tackle), so things that can happen in real life (botched snaps, slipping on a dropback, not making it through reads before pressure arrives, etc) actually happen here. There's a full morale system, a progressive fatigue system, an injury system, media reputation, and even team/teammate chemistry.

Your choices matter: training takes inspiration from the Football Manager series and has you balancing player fatigue and injury risk with their development. Game planning gives you the highlights of what your upcoming opponent specializes in or is weak to, and you choose the plays you're bringing to the game out of your playbook. You can try to apply for a higher reputation position at a different team, but if word gets out, your reputation (and your staff's opinion of you) take a hit.

Bad stuff happens: you can actually get fired if you don't perform up to the required standard for your team. There are offseason "scandal" type events, where a player or coach (if they have character concerns) can end up doing something that leads to a suspension. There are career and season ending injuries, and there's the chance for these to happen in the off season during those scandal events (such as a car crash). There are player feuds and training camp fights that work against your team's chemistry. Players, staff, and owners all can hold grudges, causing them to refuse to work with you in the future.

All the stats: every play of every game is recorded, and can be referenced in the future. Every stat that a player records, from the preseason to the championship game, is also recorded, and can be referenced 15 years in the future in the save, if you so wish. Individual game grades, snap counts, full injury history and off-field-incident track records are recorded. There are team and league records, there are awards, there's voting for the legally-distinct-pro-bowl-type-game.

Design and call plays: there's a full formation editor (ships with 56 offensive formations and 10 defensive ones). There's a full play editor, for both offense and defense. There's a full scheme editor, where you can choose what formations are available and set the base tempo, run/pass spread, and aggression for. All of this currently works as a straight JSON upload/download, but should fully support the Steam Workshop by release. You can call all the plays on offense, defense, and special teams during a game, and what you have on game day is based on what you installed that week during gameplanning.

It's all there: salary cap, contract restructuring, ticket/parking/concession pricing, sponsorships, relocations, rebrands, team sales, franchise tags, contract incentives, weather affecting performance on game day for open air stadiums, trading, the draft, media storylines about busts and draft stock increases, coaching hot seats.
