Your cursor is the sword. Move the mouse and the blade cuts what it sweeps through; rest your hand and it fights on alone. Hold the crystal against hordes of thousands and forge a sword to outgrow them.
No attack button. Just the mouse.
Your cursor is the sword. Move the mouse and the blade follows, cutting whatever its edge sweeps through. Hold the edge on an enemy and it keeps cutting.Hold the crystal
A crystal stands at the centre of every floor.- Every stage is a new floor: moats, walled keeps, causeways over a chasm, spirals, pillar fields.
- 114 monsters across three places: Hollow Steps, Fungal Deep and Bone Reliquary. Every elite has a skill of its own, every tenth stage is a boss that fights in acts, and each place ends with its warden.
A sword that keeps growing
When the crystal breaks, the run is over, but every shard you picked up is banked for good.- Every kill feeds your level, and every level brings a skill point: seven active skills, from Shadow Blade to Live Wire, cast from ten slots with the number keys, or by themselves.
- Gear falls off monsters and the blade picks it up as it cuts: six slots, seven rarities, auto-salvage rules and locks for the pieces you keep.
Melt it down
Reach stage 100 and Ascension opens: melt the sword, the bank, the forge and your level down into embers. Embers buy relics, 39 of them on a tree that rises out of the fire, and each one changes how the next climb plays: stones that leap whole stages, a second blade that works the far side of the floor, a heart that multiplies every shard.Played your way
- Hands off whenever you like: choose how long the mouse must rest before auto-cut takes over, and let skills cast themselves.
- Save anywhere: quit mid-stage and CONTINUE from the title at the start of that stage, with your crystal and shards.
- Rebindable keys, and every page plays from the keyboard. The blade cuts on contact; menus never do.
