IdolPet Caretaker

IdolPet Caretaker is a cozy pet-raising visual novel with idol shows based on rhythm mechanics.

You run an animal shelter, where the animals suddenly turn into humans and ask for your help to form an idol group. They come with emotional and trust issues that hold them back, but through hanging out with them, taking care of their needs, and performing in their shows, you get to know them better and help them overcome their problems, so they can chase their idol dreams.

Every morning, you start at home with the Idolpets hanging around and living their lives. You can interact with them to see how they’re feeling or what they’re thinking. Their moods will vary depending on how you treat them and recent events they may be processing.

You will also have limited daily activities to help them. Each action helps you to know them better and have the chance to make a change in their lives: these actions are feeding and exercising.
Food will help you to know them better: you can learn what they like and what they hate; this will change the way they interact with you.

Exercise will improve their performance at their idol shows.

On the afternoon, you can explore the city and hang out with one of the idolpets to progress on her story. Check their diaries to have more info about them and the path you're following.

Sometimes you will have the chance to play a rhythm game to participate on their shows with two idolpets of your choice. Every idolpet have her own bond with the others. This will affect their performance and they'll be emotionally affected by the result, so make sure to do your best at every show!

Help the idolpets navigate their new reality as humans, and learn to face the shadows that follows them.
