College Hockey 27

Run a college hockey program. Work recruits week by week, build a system and identity, and watch the games from above. Develop every player, win national championships, and your own campus to build. Leave your legacy.
NEW IN 27
Recruiting has a timeline now. The board opens sorted by arrival year. Expand 2029 and you see that class: how many forwards, defencemen and goalies you still need that autumn, how many bodies are left to sign, and how many of them are ready to step in at twenty.
You can move a commit's arrival. Pull a player forward to fill a hole this year, or push him back a year to make room. Push a kid who's got other options and you can lose him.
Every action is yours to spend. Call him, call his family, call his junior coach, get him on campus, go to his house. Each costs hours from a weekly budget, and each shows the exact effect before you commit to it. The pitch matters more then ever, sell playing time to the player who wants to play now, development to the one chasing the pros, and the wrong pitch costs you credibility you don't get back.
Recruiting pathways. Recruits are now available from multiple different leagues, each with different strength multipliers.
WATCH THE GAME
A top-down broadcast built to show the play
Follow the puck by its trail
Real hockey decisions: dump-ins, chips, cutbacks when the lane closes, D-to-D, stretch passes and more
Coach from the bench: call your lines and pairs, pick the power-play and penalty-kill units, pull the goalie, change the forecheck mid-game
Always-on scorebug, live clock, shots, momentum
Match Engine: Built from real ice hockey data, scores, stats and advanced analytics are now built into the match engine providing the most realistic outcomes possible
THE PRO PATHWAY
New offseason step: draft day, late June. Your players get picked, and the club holds their rights on a real clock. Watch the board, an early signing costs you a season you were counting on.
Then follow them out: who's in the top league, who's in the minors, who's overseas, and how many games they've played. Alumni in the pros become a recruiting argument.
PLAYER CARDS
Every player who ever dressed for you keeps a card and a dated career log: the day he committed, the day he was drafted, the night he broke a program record, the day he signed and where he went.
Attributes: Updated attributes gives the user access to 2x more micro stats which each have different effects on the simulation engine
What to look for: program and national record books, retired numbers in the rafters, elected captains each season, and an all-time series record against every opponent that shows up on the schedule before you play them.
YOUR CAMPUS
See the grounds from above and build on them. Sell the arena naming rights for real annual revenue or keep the heritage name. Choose the parcel for a new practice sheet. Decide whether a facility shares a building or gets its own and see which buildings hold what.
ADVANCED ANALYTICS
Expected goals, Corsi, WAR, goals saved above expected and more advanced stats. The league is tuned against a decade of real scoring data.
UPDATED PLAYER BUILDS
Players now range from various player builds from a playmaking power forward to a dual threat scorer, the new build system allows players to be unique and specialize in different areas
ACADEMIC SCHOOLS
Academic schools will now have access to limited players depending on what their policy is for students, making it a harder challenge to recruit players to your program
