Doubloon: Pirate Dice Roguelike

Doubloon is a pirate dice roguelike deckbuilder. You owe the Pirate King. Roll combinations to pay each captain's ransom before your hands run out, or walk the plank.

Stake and Multiplier Both Have to Grow

• Stake × multiplier = payout. Raise both to keep up with the ransom
  
• Crew boost your multiplier and most grow as you meet their conditions. Hire the same member again to stack their effects
  
• Codex upgrades and carving raise your stake. Refacing changes the faces on a die
  
• Every port asks the same question: stake or multiplier?

Roll, Keep, Reroll. Play What You Select

• Build pairs, full houses, straights or five of a kind
  
• Play and Reroll both act on selected dice. After playing, those dice reroll; the rest stay
  
• Recruit Ballast to carry one played die's result into your next hand
  
• House Rules reshape combinations. Add a sixth die to open up new ones

Every Move Is Shown Before You Board

• See the captain's move and counterplay when you enter a sea. You have two port visits to prepare
  
• Moves last one round. Your crew's growth and upgrades survive them
  
• No Runs, Pickpocket, Shackle, Blindfold, Double, Hook Left: prepare before you board

• They talk back every hand: roll well and they sweat, fall just short and they grin
  
• Past the King lie undersea regions and the Loop. Only the plank ends a run
