Ryan Caldwell, out of work for over a year, takes the only job he can get: night desk clerk at the lonely Grayshore Motel on Route 9. His first shift starts tonight. He has no idea what this night has in store for him.

Faded Fears is a psychological horror game that tells a short, self-contained story in first person – told by the one who lived through it.

Faded Fears: Grayshore Motel

October 2009. Ryan Caldwell hasn't worked in over a year, and the rent is overdue. When he finds an ad for a night desk clerk at the Grayshore Motel in the local paper, he applies right away. That same evening the phone rings: he starts tonight. 10 PM to 6 AM, alone on a quiet stretch of Route 9.

The rule was simple: Stay at the front desk.

The Gameplay

A first-person, story-driven walking simulator with exploration, driving, conversations and real tasks at the motel's front desk.
