Command Ukrainian or Russian forces in a 3D turn-based strategy game. Capture cities, defend river crossings, dig trenches and coordinate land, air and naval units on a hex map of Ukraine. Each turn brings new decisions—and another day of war.
Ukraine Under Fire is a single-player, turn-based strategy game set against the Russia–Ukraine war. Choose a side and command your forces across a 3D hex-based map of Ukraine, where cities, river crossings and defensive positions shape your campaign.
Each turn represents one day. Decide where to advance, where to hold your ground and which units your economy can afford to support.

Command a combined-arms force
Deploy infantry, tanks, mechanized troops, artillery, rocket launchers, drones, helicopters, aircraft and naval units. Support your frontline with air defence, engineers, reconnaissance vehicles and supply trucks. Coordinate their roles to overcome enemy positions and protect your own forces.
Fight for cities and territory
Break through a city’s defences before capturing it and taking control of its surrounding region. Different settlements serve different purposes: major cities recruit ground forces, air bases produce aviation units, and ports provide access to naval production.

Shape the battlefield
Dig trenches to strengthen defensive positions. Lay mines to damage advancing enemies and use mine-clearing vehicles to open a route. Destroy bridges across the Dnipro to disrupt ground movement—or send engineers to rebuild a vital crossing.
Keep your army supplied
Balance recruitment, production times and unit upkeep. Captured cities help fund your campaign, but heavily damaged settlements stop generating income. An empty treasury weakens your forces, making economic decisions part of your military strategy.
Adapt as the campaign develops
Enemy positions disappear beyond your forces’ vision. Units gain combat experience, while damaged formations need time or supply support to recover. Choose your difficulty and face an AI opponent as you work toward your side’s campaign objective.
