Tavern Aftermath is a cozy tidying game set in a ransacked medieval tavern. Pick up everything the soldiers threw around, put each thing back where it belongs, and piece together the secret that brought them through the door.

A Cozy Tavern Clean-Up
Lorrie’s late father ran this tavern for years. Then soldiers came looking for something, and they turned the place upside down to find it. Bottles, books, bread, barrels, swords, flour sacks, instruments and card chips are all over the floor, from the kitchen to the upstairs gallery. It’s your job to put the tavern back together, one shelf at a time.

No timers. No penalties. Just you, the firelight and a very big mess.

From Ruin to Home Again
Every shelf, rack and cubby starts out empty, and 2,500 items are scattered across the floors.

As you work, the racks fill with bottles, the library fills with rows of books and the weapon walls fill with swords and shields. Each room slowly turns back into the warm, lived-in tavern it used to be.

Pick Up, Carry, Put Away
Every shelf holds one kind of item. Work out where each thing goes, carry it over and set it in its place. A ghost preview shows you exactly where it will sit. Broken glass goes in the trash barrel, and you can throw it in from across the room if you like.

Old order scrolls left on the tables are clues to what belonged where, if you know how to read them.

A Story Hidden in the Mess
As the tavern comes back together, torn pages start to turn up, written by Merrin Vale, a royal advisor who once hid something precious under this roof. Pin each page to the desk and follow her trail. What the soldiers missed is still here, waiting for whoever puts the tavern right.

Grow Your Tidying Skills
Eight abilities unlock as you put things away. You can move faster, carry with both hands and then a whole armful, reach and throw further, and see every free spot on a shelf. Keen Eye lights up every matching item and the shelf it belongs on, Steady Hands puts away everything you’re carrying in one go, and Gather pulls nearby items straight into your arms.

Any ability can be switched off at any time if you’d rather do things by hand.
