SMALL VILLAGE, BIG AMBITIONS

Your town runs on people: houses bring settlers, and settlers keep the mines and sawmills going. A tavern keeps them happy and a church draws newcomers. One day the village that lived on fish has its own library, alchemists and mages.

THE WAREHOUSE IS FULL, MY LORD

Resources pile up on their own, but clicking a building brings them in right away, and sometimes a single click pays out tenfold. Keep an eye on the warehouse: once it's full, production stops. Expand storage, research upgrades and buy blueprints at the library for higher building levels.

EVEN THE BOARS WANT IN

A town without guards is easy prey for goblins, bandits and the occasional boar. Build barracks and a rangers' guild, and train troops in advance: scouts warn you a couple of minutes before a raid, and that's not enough to train a whole army. Walls, a moat and towers help hold the line.

LIVE FROM THE FRONT LINE

Your troops fight on their own, and the battle streams live in a small window in the corner. If it's going badly, open the battlefield and step in with a spell. Magic costs resources, but losing costs more.

WHY TRADE WHEN YOU CAN TAKE?

With every neighbor, it's your call. Trade by caravan and ship, and send help when they ask for it. Or send a raiding party instead, take their resources and sack the town. Raids pay well, but not every warrior comes back.

THE COUNT ALWAYS COMES BACK

The Count's wagons keep coming, each tribute bigger than the last. Until you pay, your settlers sulk and recruits are harder to find. Pay up for now, build up your strength, and one day give the Count a very different answer.
