Build a British Flat racing yard from the morning gallops up. Train horses shaped by their own abilities, plot campaigns through the Classics, buy and breed bloodstock, manage owners and staff, and watch your races unfold in a living racing world.

Every horse has a race in it. Your job is to find the right one.

The Gallops: Horse Racing Manager is a single-player management simulation of British Flat racing. A horse does not win because the story says it should. Its speed, acceleration, cruising speed, stamina, finishing effort, consistency and mental toughness meet Fitness, Sharpness, trip, ground, race pace, weight and the incidents of race day. Learn what you have, then place it well.

Begin in the morning. The Gallops puts your string, the selected horse and today's available work side by side. Set the work, intensity and leader yourself, or follow the Head Lad's plan. Read the reports, keep a notebook and build evidence before asking for more. A horse may be fit but not sharp; another may be ready to run but entered over the wrong trip. The game gives you the clues. The judgement remains yours.

When it is time to race, the Race Hub keeps the horse, its condition and matching races together. Compare the trip, ground, company, cost and who pays; choose your jockey and riding instructions; then watch your race unfold. Read the result, performance and handicapper's response before deciding what comes next.

Build campaigns through maidens, handicaps, trials, Listed and Group races, with the five British Classics at the centre of the season. Preparation, recovery, placement and weight all matter.

Learn horses rather than reading hidden truth. Inspections, gallops and racing tighten the Yard's Read across seven abilities. Evidence grows through a career, but certainty is earned.

Build your own empire or train for owners. Buy stock for the yard or fulfil an owner's brief, with ownership, costs and rewards kept clear. Hire staff, manage boxes and cash, and earn the reputation that brings better horses and larger opportunities.

Follow bloodstock from the sale ring to the racecourse and stud. Buy yearlings, breeze-up horses and breeding stock; negotiate for horses before Ascot; send mares to named stallions; raise foals; and follow families through later seasons.

Make the yard your own with registered-style colours and patterns in the silks designer. Those colours follow your runners into race cards and the game's painted racing moments.

Close finishes, winner's enclosures, new arrivals, foalings, retirements and awards mark the important turns in a horse's story. Save winner cards for sharing when a result deserves to travel beyond the yard.

The world extends beyond your stable. Follow rival yards, championships, international racing and permanent records through the newspaper, Inbox and World pages. Horses age, improve, disappoint, change hands and go to stud. The result is not a sequence of puzzles to solve, but a racing world to read.
