You run an airlock. Check every robot: the supplier's letter against what's really in the box. Sign it off — and you drive it yourself. Miss a fault and it shows up mid-fight. At hand-over, they'll ask what you signed and why.
Check the box. Check yourself.
HERMETICA is a game about signing your name under a machine — and then riding it into the fight.
THE DESK
A robot arrives at your airlock with a supplier's letter. The letter says everything is fine. The evidence box says otherwise — sometimes. Compare the papers line by line, find what doesn't match, and decide: clear it for the line, clear it with a note, or send it back.
THE FIELD
Whatever you signed, you drive. Top-down, free movement, every hull with its own job — repair nodes, scan the dark, power the grid, carry the wounded out. The fault you waved through at the desk doesn't stay on paper: it fails right when you need it.
THE HAND-OVER
Every shift ends with a report. Tell the truth and keep a clean record — or take the vendor's deal and climb the ranks faster. Your honesty file follows you all the way to the final hearing.
THE VENDOR
He always has a card to play: a faster run, a skipped check, a favour you'll owe later. He remembers every one.
• Six hulls, six shifts, one record that follows you
• Paper-checking that matters: every mismatch you miss shows up in combat
• Free-movement top-down fights, each hull with its own verb
• Ranks, an honesty file, a debt to the vendor — and several endings
