Auto-battles you can watch

Fights are auto-battles, but not a wall of numbers: every blow lands on screen. Whether you win comes down to how well you prepared, and the bosses will put that to the test.

The Jade Realm: a roguelike deckbuilder

The part of the game you play hands-on. You start with ten cards and win more from fights, quests and work, so the longer you play, the more ways you have to build a deck. Every realm has its own enemies and its own boss waiting at its heart. See how far your deck can take you, and with a little luck, bring home a rare companion.

Raise a band of beasts

Bring home the young of the wild: a hound that sniffs out herbs, a rock lizard that works the mine, a python that helps you brew, even a white tiger. Each has work it's good at. Send them on expeditions, take your fiercest into battle, teach them skills from old books, and rank up your favorite with spares of the same kind. Once in a while one is born different, a rare variant worth keeping forever.

Six skills to master

Herbalism, Mining, Alchemy, Smithing, Weapons and Physique, each from level 1 to 99. Brew the salves that keep you alive, forge the blade that gets you past the next boss, and set it all running before bed. It'll still be at it when you wake up.

Explore tile by tile

Every place is one big painting, faint ink and cloud until you explore it. Tile by tile the picture fills in: the best herb patches, a seam of ore, a beast's den, and now and then an encounter with a story of its own. Send a companion to explore while you're away and come back to more of the map painted in.

The village that raised you

Everyone here has known you since you were small: Uncle Wu, who raised you, the hunter, the smith, the peddler. Help them through thirty quests and you'll learn what they've been carrying, from an old debt left over from the plague to a tiger watched for a whole year, and where the bandits in the hills really came from.

Offline progress, up to 12 hours

Whatever you set going, whether gathering, crafting or fighting, keeps going for up to 12 hours after you close the game. Single-player, fully playable offline, no ads and no microtransactions.
