A keyboard toy for babies, not a game for grown-ups. A parent starts it; it locks the keyboard and mouse, and every key a baby mashes makes seals, puffins, frogs, sea turtles or elephants sing and splash. No goals, no levels, no score. Hold both Shifts, let go, hold again to leave.

This is a toy for babies and toddlers, not a game for you to play. There are no goals, levels, scores or progress, and nothing to win or unlock: a baby presses keys and things happen, that's all.

Who it's for

Parents of babies and toddlers (roughly 6 months to 3 years) who want to let a little one bang on the computer safely, with a grown-up nearby.

Who it isn't for: anyone looking for a game to play themselves.

How a parent leaves

Hold both Shift keys, let go, then hold both Shift keys again. A small reminder of this is always on screen.
If you opened a place from the picker, the same gesture first returns to the picker; do it twice to quit.

Five places

Glacier Bay, Puffin Island, Lily Marsh, Coral Reef and Savanna. Each key a baby presses makes seals, puffins, frogs, sea turtles or elephants sing and splash.

What the lock blocks, and its limits

While it runs, the keyboard and mouse are captured so a baby's mashing can't close windows, open apps or type into other programs. Some things can't be blocked by any app:
  • Windows: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Win+L and brightness keys still work.
  • macOS: blocking media keys needs Accessibility permission, granted once.
  • Linux: the strongest lock needs your user in the input group.
Please stay nearby while your little one plays.

Sounds

Real animal and instrument recordings, kept at a soft volume.

Privacy

No ads, no in-app purchases, no internet connection, and no data collected.

Settings for parents
