The man who followed me home

On the train home, a man across from me kept staring.

I pretended not to notice, and held on until my stop.

That night, he came to my home.

Through the barred window, under the streetlight, your eyes meet.

He walks into the building. The iron door slams shut.

He isn't leaving. Neither are you.

Find the axe. Break the door.

Somewhere in this four-story housing block, there is an axe.

Find it, get down to the ground floor, and cut the chain on the iron door.

Between you and the way out, the man walks the corridors and stairs.

Listen for him

You can't move the camera. All you see is the one view from where you stand.

So you listen.

Footsteps climbing the stairs. The elevator stopping on some floor. A door opening.

And he hears your footsteps the same way.

Hide

If he sees you, run.

The closet, the electrical cabinet, the elevator car. There are places to hide.

But he remembers where he last heard you.

Survive three nights

Make it through three nights in a row, and it's over.

Get caught once, and you start again from the first night.

The axe and his route change every night.
