Pick your units and set their positions before battle begins. Once the fight starts, your troops clash automatically. You watch the tide of war and drag spells to wherever they are needed.

A single reposition or a perfectly timed spell can completely turn the duel around.

Shieldbearers hold the front line to make space for archers and mages, while cavalry waits for the chance to charge. Beasts, elementals and dragons all wield unique strengths and weaknesses. Build your army around unit counters, elemental affinities and synergies to craft the perfect lineup for every clash.

Units fight on their own, but you wield spells for critical moments. Launch fireballs into clustered foes, heal your crumbling frontline, or use shields and crowd control to create openings for counterattacks. While dragging spells, time slows briefly on the battlefield, letting you aim carefully and read the situation.

Fight through sequential encounters in the campaign, collect and nurture units to refine your legion. Unlock roguelike mode, where you pick upgrades floor by floor and build lineups around each run’s opportunities. You may also visit the Tactics Chamber to set formation, frontline tactics and logistics.

Weigh gains against costs: bolster your frontline, build around spellcasting, or invest resources into unit growth. Let your choices prove their worth in the next battle.
