DARK FEVER is an top-down survival game set in a world consumed by infection and collapse. Explore abandoned towns, suburbs, forests, industrial areas and remote locations as you search for food, equipment, weapons, vehicles and anything else that might keep you alive. Every journey outside your shelter is a risk, every resource matters, and the infected are never far away.

The world of DARK FEVER is designed for exploration. Travel through abandoned neighborhoods, cities, farms, forests, industrial zones and forgotten places while searching for valuable resources and discovering new locations. Vehicles allow you to travel farther, transport supplies and escape dangerous situations - but fuel, condition and maintenance can turn even a simple trip into a difficult decision. Explore. Scavenge. Adapt. Survive.

SCAVENGE, CRAFT AND BUILD

The world is full of things that can still be useful - if you are willing to look for them. Search homes, stores, warehouses, vehicles and abandoned facilities for supplies. Use what you find to craft equipment, maintain your gear and improve your chances of survival. Find a place worth defending and turn it into a shelter. Barricade entrances, organize supplies and prepare for what comes next.

FACE THE INFECTED

The infected are a constant threat. Some wander alone, while others gather into dangerous groups capable of overwhelming an unprepared survivor. Noise, movement and combat can attract attention, turning a manageable encounter into a desperate fight for survival. Sometimes the best option is to fight. Sometimes it is to run.

VEHICLES MATTER

Vehicles are more than transportation. They allow you to explore distant locations, move large amounts of equipment and escape dangerous areas before they become impossible to control. Different environments can contain different types of vehicles, from everyday cars to utility vehicles, trucks and specialized machines. Finding a vehicle is only the beginning. Keeping it running is another challenge.

SURVIVE ALONE - OR WITH OTHERS

DARK FEVER is designed around a world where survivors, companions and other characters can become part of your story. Face the outbreak alone or cooperate with other survivors as the world grows around you. Share resources, explore together, defend your shelter and try to survive another day.

DARK FEVER is built with community-created content in mind. The game is powered by Z-MOD, a mod-driven framework designed to allow DARK FEVER to grow far beyond its original world. Mod creators will be able to build new experiences using the systems provided by the game.
