Werewolf in a walkable, snowbound 3D village. By day, search for tracks and whisper behind the barn. At dusk, accuse and vote by the campfire. At night, the wolves creep from house to house. Online with 4–16 friends and proximity voice chat.

The age-old game of Werewolf – but you're not sitting in a circle, you're living in the village. Walk the snowy lanes, whisper with allies behind the houses, follow paw prints in the snow and survive the night. One of you will howl when the moon rises.

A day in the village

  • Day: Explore freely. Who is talking to whom? Who was last seen at the tavern? Whose tracks lead to which house?
  • Evening at the campfire: Everyone gathers around the fire to suspect and argue – then it's time to vote. Out in the open: whoever votes points at their suspect, and everyone sees who voted for whom.
  • Defence and verdict: Whoever gets the most votes stands accused and may defend themselves – nobody else speaks. Then the others decide: guilty or innocent.
  • The reveal: Whoever is banished is revealed in front of everyone – the bell tolls, and the village learns whether it caught a werewolf. If it did, the wolf transforms one last time.
  • Night: Villagers bolt their doors and listen from their beds by candlelight. The wolves creep through the village and pick a lock.
  • Morning: Who didn't survive the night? What does their last will say? And what tracks did the pack leave behind?

What makes this Werewolf different

  • Proximity voice chat: By day, only those nearby can hear you – walls muffle your voice. At the campfire, everyone hears everyone. At night, only the wolves hear each other. The dead only hear other ghosts.
  • Whispering: Hold the whisper key and only those right next to you can hear you – at the campfire, only your bench neighbour. Everyone else just sees that you're whispering.
  • Tracks and clues: Paw prints in the snow, mud on the boardwalks, scraps of cloth in the brambles, flour at the door.
  • 15 roles: Villager, Werewolf, Alpha Wolf, Traitor, Seer, Innkeeper, Lantern Bearer, Hunter, Herbalist, Priest, Blacksmith, Gravedigger, Neighbour, Siblings and Night Watchman. The Night Watchman patrols the village at night with a lantern, the Neighbour senses how many of the people next door weren't in bed, and the Siblings know each other.
  • Last will and disguise: Put together your last will – which role you have, whom you suspect, whom you trust. Everyone sees it only after your death. Lying is allowed: the pack knows up to two roles that aren't in play this round. And the wolves can tear up their victim's will at night.
  • Ghosts keep playing: The dead make lanterns flicker, write a word in the snow or send a will-o'-the-wisp to someone's door.
  • A living village: A tavern with a counter, a bell tower, a hunting stand by the lodge, a church register, a graveyard and a notice board.
  • Weather and events: Blizzards, fog, full moon, thunderstorms, blood moon, market day and plague change every round.
  • Six maps: The Winter Village; Moorbruch, a stilt village in a misty bog with punts and rising water; Salzbucht, a fishing cove with ebb and flood; Krautwinkel, a garden where you are tiny; the Jesters' Fair with barrel organ, confetti and fireworks; and the Silver Mine, a mining village on a hillside where every step echoes through the mountain. Five of them unlock as you level up.
  • Custom rules: The host chooses which roles may appear, sets the phase lengths, picks open or secret voting and switches the defence and events on or off – or simply picks a preset.
  • Night replay: At the end, see who did what, and when.
  • Fair progression: Levels unlock colours, door lanterns and campfire styles – by playing only, no purchases.
  • 16 Steam achievements – from your first win to Village Legend.
  • Streamer mode and languages: English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Polish, Russian, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
