Run an arcade from 1972 to 1998. Buy cabinets, set the prices, keep them repaired and play every one of the 31 machines yourself: each is a real, playable game. Grow from a corner nook into a neon megaplex as the years roll by.

Every cabinet is a real game

It is 1972 and you rent a tiny corner unit with one cabinet and a bucket of quarters. Every machine you add earns money, and every machine is a real, playable game: click a cabinet and the camera dives into its screen, and you play it for real.

31 machines, from 1972 to 1998

  • Paddles, bricks and pinball. PING, BRICK BASH, SILVER BALL, SORCERER TABLE, AIR HOCKEY
  • Shooters. COSMIC INTRUDERS, METEOR STORM, STAR SWARM, SKY GUARD, BUG BLASTER, SKY ACES, TUBE STORM, GUN RANGE
  • Mazes, ladders and puzzles. CHOMPER, HOPPER, CRATE CLIMBER, CUBE HOP, DIG DEEP, LIGHT CYCLES, BLOCK DROP

Win bronze, silver and gold medals on every cabinet; medals make that machine earn more.

Run the arcade

  • Buy, place, rotate, move and sell cabinets, and set the price of every play: cheap, fair or premium
  • Keep machines serviced and upgraded: a broken cabinet earns nothing
  • Hire an Attendant, a Cleaner, a Mechanic, Security and a Manager
  • Decorate the hall with plants, neon, bulbs, carpet, a mirror ball, a mezzanine and more
  • Run promotions, pay the rent every week, protect your reputation and watch the crowd come in
  • Patrons walk in, feed a coin and really play the machines you chose

Grow through the years

  • Four halls: the Corner Nook, the Strip-Mall Arcade, the Boardwalk Palace and the Neon Megaplex
  • Thirty levels, one for each year from 1972 to 1998: earn the XP and finish the list of upgrades, decor, staff, promotions and medals to move up
  • The world is dressed for the year: cars, clothes, colour grade and music change with the decades
  • Your arcade keeps earning while you are away, up to a limit: come back to coins waiting in the cash boxes

Controls

Mouse to build, place and manage the hall (hotkeys B, V, G, P and H open the shop, decor, staff, promotions and halls). The keyboard plays the machines: each cabinet shows its own controls and Enter starts a game. Eight machines (PING, AIR HOCKEY, BRICK BASH, BUG BLASTER, GUN RANGE, SKEE ROLL, SKY GUARD and WHACK-A-MOLE) can also be played with the mouse. A single-player game that plays without an internet connection.
