Pot little living plants on your Windows desktop. They grow while you work, droop when they're thirsty and bloom after weeks of care. Water them, take cuttings and fill your herbarium: a calm companion that lives behind your windows, or above them.
A garden that lives on your desktop
Bouture puts small plants on your Windows desktop, standing on the taskbar or hanging from the top of the screen. They are alive in their own slow way: they grow while you work, their leaves droop when they are thirsty, and they bloom after weeks of care.
A few seconds a day
Double-click a plant to water it.
Take cuttings from grown plants and pot them.
Prune the vines, change pots and foliage colours, move everything where you like.
Nothing dies for good: a wilted plant recovers with one watering.
Always in sight, never in the way
Keep your plants on the desktop, or above your windows, where they fade under the cursor and let every click through. They step aside for full screen games and films.
An herbarium to fill
Every species you grow is pressed into your herbarium, with a stamp for each milestone and 20 achievements to earn.
