Mushroom Sweeper

Mushroom Sweeper is first-person mushroom hunting in CryEngine. Sweep a procedurally generated forest, clear the forest floor, track mushrooms with the Sporevision and uncover whole mushroom patches in a Minesweeper-style minigame. In campaign mode, save your grandpa by recovering his mushroom inventions in exchange for prized specimens.

Into the forest

You walk through a procedurally generated forest in first person. Mushrooms hide under the forest floor: moss, needles and grass. Some are in plain sight, some barely poke a cap through, some you have to dig out. Grandpa's inventions help you spot mushrooms from afar or tear through the undergrowth. In a few minutes you can fill a whole basket. The mushrooms you gather are your currency. You pay with them to get grandpa's inventions back, and his friends and yours help you along the way.

Mycelium

Mushrooms sometimes don't grow alone. Picking one opens a Minesweeper-style grid on the ground beneath your feet. Each tile shows the odds of finding another mushroom, letting you top up your basket fast.

Mushroomville

Your grandpa is a mushroom hunter and an inventor. He takes you foraging and shows off his contraptions. That's where the idyll ends. The mushroom mafia jumps you, you lose your haul and the gear, and grandpa ends up in a coma. The only thing that can save him is a legendary mushroom no one but him has ever seen. Without grandpa, but with his gear, can you find that treasure?
