Pack your car, drive through a portal and camp in other worlds. A cozy first-person game: prepare at home, load the trunk in 3D, take photos to sell, and fly a drone. Early build; text is Korean only.

Pack the car. Drive through the portal. Camp in a world that is not ours.

Wanderhearth is a cozy first-person camping game about a photographer who travels to other worlds. You prepare at home, load your car yourself, drive to a portal, pick a spot for your camp, and take photos you can sell to a magazine editor.

This is an early build. The home, the garage, the car, camping and photography are playable. Parts of the planned story and some of the worlds are not in yet.

Language note: all in-game text is currently in Korean only. An English interface is planned but has no date yet.

What you can do

  • Shop and prepare at home. Order camping gear and groceries from the computer in your bedroom. Deliveries arrive after you sleep, so plan ahead. Carry items one by one from the storage racks to the garage.
  • Load the trunk in 3D. The trunk has real 3D space plus weight and cooler limits. Stack, rotate and fit your gear so everything goes in and the doors can close.
  • Drive yourself. Take the car out of the garage and through the portal, then drive around the other world to find a flat spot to camp.
  • Set up camp. Unload in reverse order, then place a tent, tarp, table and fire pit, hang string lights, and decorate your site.
  • Take photos. Use the camera and lenses. Photos are scored on subject, composition, light, moment and story when you sell them to the editor, and requests pay for better gear.
  • Fly a drone from camp for a view from above.
  • Visit five other worlds: a glowing lake, sky islands, a giant tree, a night with two moons, and an aurora snowfield.
  • Come back and go again. Pack up, return through the portal, put your gear away and plan the next trip. Each trip lasts one night.

Good to know

  • Single-player. Keyboard and mouse. Windows only for now.
  • There is no cooking or foraging.
  • The story is unfinished in this build, and some worlds are still missing.
  • Some objects are simple placeholders, and the cars are variations of one SUV.
  • Performance has not been tested on many PCs. The game is large (about 3.7 GB).
  • Expect bugs. Saves from older versions may not carry over.
