About our use of AI

Most of the code is written by an AI coding agent (Claude) under the developer's direction and review. This store description was drafted by AI and edited by the developer. The in-game text was also written by AI (Claude) under the developer's direction; every language other than Japanese was written or translated by AI and has not been checked by native speakers.
The title logo, the large store and library images (capsules) and the app icon were made by the developer with an AI image generator (ChatGPT). The in-game character, monster, background and effect art and the fonts are mostly purchased or licensed assets, and none of the purchased assets were generated by AI. The exceptions are the slash and healing effects, the spectators in the stands and the ground patterns of the hunting grounds, which were drawn by programs written by AI (not output from an image generation model). The cutting out, combining and recoloring of the purchased assets, and the shapes and light effects the game draws on screen (such as the match cut-ins), are also done by programs written by AI. No AI runs while the game is running.

About the game

While you play your main game, your taskbar guild is fighting too. Desktop MMO Guild Manager is an idle game where a tiny MMO guild lives at the bottom of your screen. Whether you're playing or working, your guildmates go hunting, play a match every hour and slowly grow stronger. Your goal: win the top of the four leagues. Offline, single-player, Windows only.

Your whole guild, hunting at the bottom of your screen

Every member hunts at their own pace, with their own skills and gear. With a healer or a shield on the team, they can keep hunting for longer. Even members who don't play in matches have gear and skills worth setting up.

A match every hour, fully automatic

Every hour the game is running, five of your members play a match against a rival guild. There is no button to press. You can tell how it went from the five on the strip, and read the details in the daily report. The very first time you launch the game, the first match starts right away.

Characters retire. Your guildmates don't.

The guildmate who played a character stays in your guild and comes back with a new one. Their skill as a player carries over.
