Wiggle Town

Wiggle Town is a first-person social deduction game for 4 to 12 players. You live in a small village. One or two of your neighbors are Cursed, and nobody knows which ones.

How a match goes

At night everyone heads out to work. You adjust the windmill belt, light lanterns, haul pumpkins and try to meet the village's nightly task quota. The Cursed are out there with you, and the dark is when they strike.

If you find a body, inspect it and ring the village bell to call a meeting. Deaths nobody found come out at dawn anyway. Then everyone shares what they saw and votes someone out.

The village wins by stopping every Cursed or by getting enough night work done. The Cursed win once they have the numbers.

Roles

• Hunter: Carries a crossbow with one shot per night. Shoot the wrong person and your crossbow breaks, you lose your vote, and you die at dawn after the next night.
  
• Healer: Protects one other player every night, starting from the first.
  
• Watcher: Once per night, uses a trace lens to see recent trails. Matching marks belong to the same person.
  
• Village Fool: Can show up in matches with 6 or more players. Wins alone if the village votes them out.

Everyone else is a regular villager.

Voice chat

Voice chat is proximity based. People next to you hear you clearly, and you get quieter the further away they are. At night you can grab the megaphone and talk to the whole village, or take one end of a tin can phone and talk to whoever is holding the other cup. There is also text chat and a quick ping wheel for calls like "come here" or "body spotted".

After you die

Dying doesn't take you out of the match. You keep watching the living as a ghost and make predictions with the other ghosts.

You can also slap people. It rarely helps your case.
