Farm, fish, fight and explore, and turn all of it into better gear. Sell your harvest, your catch and what monsters drop, then buy the armor the next road demands. Real-time combat: read the wind-up, step off the red tiles, strike back. Four classes, puzzle dungeons and five towns to reach.

The farming and the fighting lean on each other. What you grow and catch feeds you on the road, and what you sell at market pays for weapons and armor in town. You'll need plenty of food and equipment, because at night the lamps come on... and danger comes out.
A few things to experience
Real-time combat. Spacing and stamina matter. Enemies wind up before they swing, and big attacks mark the ground before they land.
Four classes. Pick Warrior, Paladin, Monk or Wizard at the start, each with its own move and spells.
Farming. Tilling, watering, planting seeds, and time to harvest, through twelve-day seasons with rain, snow and storms.
Fishing and cooking. Meals that help in a fight or on the farm.
Crafting and gear. A crafting workbench, plus weapons and armor to buy in town.
Dungeons. Full of puzzles, including (but not limited to) push blocks, switches, levers, ice and more.
Towns and more. Five towns to visit, a pet for the farm, and an autumn fair.

Summer is almost over in the rural town of Riverford. The harvest is in, the farm's cart is loaded, and your old father's knee has really been bothering him...
Your family bought this year's seed on credit. The grain buyer in town pays full price so long as the harvest reaches him before the autumn fair. Your father has hauled that cart every year, but this year he can hardly stand. Strangely, slimes have been spotted much farther south than usual. Add those up and we have an adventure on our hands! So, the trip into town falls on you, but only once the chores are finished.
That first trip is only the start. The story runs ten chapters through a detailed, lived-in world full of interesting and engaging characters. Your neighbors keep their own hours and have their own work to see to. Talk to someone in daylight and again after dark, and you'll hear something different.

There's a free demo. It covers the first major quest of the full game, about 30 to 60 minutes.
Everything was created and built on Windows. I test the Linux build less, so please be patient and let me know if your experience isn't what you expect.

I've been working on this game, on and off, for over a year. It's been a lot of fun learning the Godot Engine, and I've grown much more comfortable with it in that time. My goal for this game is something inspired by the original Dragon Warrior trilogy and Zelda NES.
If you play the demo, please send me any and all feedback you have in the Steam discussions or by email. It goes a long way toward helping me develop a game that is designed well and, more importantly, fun!

Want to know when there's news? Wishlist and follow the game, and Steam will tell you!

AI tools were used to aid implementation of game code. All in-game art (of course, minus that by Raou), story, world, and design are my own work.
