An idle ARPG. You build a combat Frame on an 880-node grid with 267 skills and 438 affixes, set how it fights, and send it into Journeys that play out on their own. Watch a run live, replay it exactly, or close the game and let it catch up.

Horizon of Steel is an idle ARPG. You don't control the fights. You build the Frame that fights, decide how it behaves, and queue it into Journeys that play out on their own.

The planet is a machine, and it's asleep. Its threat-assessment system never stopped running tests, and every Journey is one of them. Your Frame is one of the units it sends in.

BUILD

  • One 880-node grid shared by four classes: Aegis Warden, Nanite Weaver, Vector Arbiter and Kinetic Revenant, each with four subpaths.

  • 267 skills, 88 directives to socket into the grid, and drones and constructs.

  • 246 gear bases, 438 affixes, 62 uniques and seven crafting operations.

  • A strategy profile per loadout: targeting, objectives, navigation, and the HP and shield thresholds it acts on.

RUN

  • 154 Journeys across six biomes, with missions, 19 minibosses and 19 bosses with telegraphed phases.

  • Every run is a deterministic simulation. Watch it live in the ASCII battle view, replay it exactly, or close the game and let offline catch-up run the time you were away: 4 hours at first, up to 24 hours later.

  • Each character runs its own queue at the same time.

LOOT

  • Drops from every enemy, a rule-based loot filter that keeps, sells or dismantles them, vendors and a crafting bench.

PROGRESS

  • Level 100 takes about 40 hours of runs. After it comes the Deep Audit endgame, alongside weekly events, factions and account-wide Chronicle feats.
