The Last Homecoming is a top-down mystery horror game rooted in rural Korean life and folk beliefs. Carry a lantern through old houses, solve puzzles, and confront the taboos left behind in the village.

After hearing of your grandmother’s death, you set out for home for the first time in twenty years. The old houses and narrow lanes look just as you remember them. But the child by the tent in the yard seems familiar.

Explore the places where daily life meets folk belief

Walk past the village hall and courtyards of earthenware jars toward the shrine. Shine your lantern beneath the village's sacred tree and along the reservoir shore. Explore the homes and ritual spaces of the Korean countryside, looking closely at the traces left in each place.

Find a way forward

Open drawers and read old records for clues. Collect useful tools and operate puzzle mechanisms to reach new areas. Check your journal and inventory as you work through each obstacle.

Know when to stop and when to run

Footsteps interrupt your search. Find your way through narrow corridors and a maze of tall grass while evading pursuit. Read the warnings and remember the village's taboos. If you fail, you can try again from nearby.
