A cosy idle inn that grows floor by floor up the side of your desktop. Your guests furnish their rooms from the storeroom you stock, set off on quests and come home with loot and tall tales.
Tall Tales Inn stands in a slim strip at the edge of your screen. Every click outside its walls goes through to your work, and the inn keeps going while you are away. It uses about 2 to 4% of one processor core and 300 MB of memory.
A short setup at the first start, then a mini tutorial or tips as you go, as you choose.
Furnish their rooms
Stock the storeroom, and each guest furnishes their room to their own taste. A room that suits its guest earns more stars, rent and tips.
Quests and tall tales
Send your guests out from the quest board. They come home with gold, loot and a story for the guest book.
Build it higher
Pay the builders, or hammer each new floor up yourself. Hire a kitchen hand, a housekeeper or a bard to take work off your hands.
Dig a cellar
Dig down for lodgers no guest room would take: slimes in a warren, zombies in a crypt, goblins in a den.
New cities
A finished inn sends you on to a new city, from a tree house to a castle keep. Each city brings guests of its own.
Made to be modded
Play with mods from the Steam Workshop that add furniture, guests, staff and whole cities or change the inn's rules, or make and share your own.
