Durak, the Russian card game everyone's grandmother plays, now with Supercards that break the rules. Bomb an attack, ricochet it to a neighbour, steal your rival's best card with a magnet, or reroll the trump. Play CPU opponents, a friend at the same screen, or anyone online.

The classic, with a twist

Durak ("the fool") has no winner, only a loser: the last player still holding cards. Attack with cards your opponent has to beat, throw in more of the same rank, and pass the attack on with a transfer when you can. It's quick to learn and hard to put down.

Super Durak adds eight Supercards in red jackets, each one a rule you get to break once:
  • Bomb: beats any attacking card except the trump Ace.
  • Superbomb: beats one card and ends the whole attack on the spot.
  • Ricochet: bounces the attack onto the next player, at any point in your defence.
  • Magnet: steals your opponent's highest card.
  • X-Ray: shows you every card in your opponents' hands.
  • Radar: finds the four highest trumps, wherever they are.
  • Overtime: shuffles the discard pile back into the deck.
  • Trump Dice: changes the trump suit in the middle of a fight.
Supercards don't count toward your six, and you can see them coming: the red back gives them away in your opponent's hand. Choose which ones are in play, or switch them off for traditional Durak.

Ways to play

  • Single player against 1 to 3 CPU opponents.
  • Pass-and-play for two on one computer.
  • Online through Steam with up to 4 players. Host or join a lobby, invite friends, and chat at the table. Empty seats are filled by CPU players. Windows and Mac players can play together.

Your rules

  • 20-, 36- or 52-card decks
  • Transfers on (perevodnoy) or off (podkidnoy)
  • Any mix of Supercards, dealt into your starting hand or shuffled into the deck
  • A step-by-step tutorial and optional hints for new players
  • Win and loss records for every player

Back from 2012

Super Durak first came out on the iPad in 2012. This is a rebuild for the desktop, with the original hand-drawn art and animations, a widescreen table, and mouse and keyboard controls. The game is fully playable in English and Russian.
